A truly global experience

In order to promote internationality and cultural diversity among our students, the SEK International Institution created the annual event: InterSEK.

This competition, whether sporting or cultural, takes place in one of our centers, where students from the 25 schools that are part of the Institution come together, sharing a unique and enriching experience.

From October 12 to 16, 2026, the InterSEK Sport World Meeting will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, hosted by the IES schools in Blouberg, Helderberg, and Hout Bay.

Around 200 students from our 25 SEK and IES schools worldwide will participate, creating bonds of lasting friendship.

InterSEK is not only a competition, but also an international gathering based on respect, friendship, and joy. An unforgettable event where young people from different nationalities and cultures come together, united by shared values, common goals, and the same spirit.
